Light Up The Night Mother-Son Glow Dance
Woodstock Elementary School was hoppin’ last Friday night, February 17, as mothers and sons came out for the Light Up The Night Mother-Son Glow Dance put on by the Woodstock PTO. After eating pizza and cupcakes, the boys got out on the dance floor early showing off their dance moves and were soon joined by their moms. A slow dance calmed everything down for a moment to give everyone a much-needed rest from all the active dancing, but soon the music was boomin’ again and several conga lines formed. Woodstock Elementary would like to thank many people who helped put on such a great night: Michael Hodges of Atlas Entertainment LLC for the sound system, lights, and equipment; Woodstock Police for providing a safe environment; Woodstock Foodland and Gateway Foodland Corp. for their sponsorship and donations; Balloon Mama for the festive balloons; Crystal Phipps for the monster and graffiti letter artwork; Amanda Todoroff Riley and Brittany Miller for the banner; Little Caesars of Woodstock for the pizza; Anna Lamb Photography for the professional photos; Bibb Belles for serving the party guest; and the PTO members and volunteers for helping plan, prepare, and execute a fun filled night.
