About your Career Coach

Education/Experience

I graduated from the University of Montevallo in 2008.

I have over 15 years of experience in education. I began my career in higher education working in financial aid, admissions, and scholarships. I then transitioned to secondary education, working with at-risk students. My passion for helping students accomplish their goals led me to pursue the Career Coach position with Bibb County Schools.

What does the Career Coach do? 

I provide career development guidance and resources for high school students with an emphasis on technical programs. I serve both high schools in Bibb County. I also have the opportunity to collaborate with our middle and elementary schools on career activities for younger grades. I help students prepare for life after high school through individual, small group, and classroom activities as well as large events. 

My goal is to introduce students to career and education options that best fit their interests and skills and understand the cost associated with their options. 

I am available to help students in all aspects of career and college planning.
