Due to the continuing surge of COVID-19 cases throughout our county, combined with the expectation of an increase in cases during the next 10 days, all Bibb County Schools will continue remote learning through Monday, January 18, 2021.
Teachers, along with all other building-based support staff employees, will report to work on Monday, January 4, 2021, and continue with remote teaching and learning.
All maintenance and transportation employees, with the exception of bus drivers, will return to work on Monday, January 4, 2021.
Meals will be available for curbside pickup on Thursday, January 7, and again on Tuesday, January 12.
Semester exams for all traditional/remote students in grades 7-12 will be waived. HOWEVER, all virtual students in grades 7-12 will still take exams on the Schoology or Edmentum platform, if they haven’t already.
Traditional students will return to school from remote learning on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
We strongly encourage all virtual students who have struggled with virtual learning to return to school at the beginning of the second semester on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
The Cahaba Medical School Health Clinics at BES and WBES will be open daily during regular hours beginning Monday, January 4.
Please continue to wear masks in public places, wash your hands regularly throughout the day, and maintain social distance from anyone outside of your immediate family.
