Woodstock Elementary School would like to thank the following individuals and businesses who helped make National Education Week special for our teachers and staff: Ty Corbell, Nakia Smith of Karz Used Vehicles, Mrs. Judy of Judy's Korner Store, Alfa Agent Brad Rooker, Farmer's Insurance Jeff Parker, Woodstock Nutrition Diana Parker, Kim Farley of Gamma's Kitchen, The Town of Woodstock, Lee Thompson of State Farm, and La Tortilla. These individuals and companies provided us breakfast and lunch during the week making us feel loved and appreciated.
October 25th-29th was Red Ribbon Week at Woodstock Elementary School. This is a week where we focused on being Drug Free and making healthy choices for our lives. With the help of ThriveWay's Curriculum, students focused in on their treasures and what they hope for in the future. They were reminded that using drugs will hurt their treasures and wreck their futures. On Thursday, most students walked a mile to remind them to walk away from drugs and toward healthy choices. The Pirate theme was used for the week, so on Friday, students dressed as pirates.
