Are your kids up to date on all their vaccines?
Vaccines are safe and effective in protecting children against a variety of potentially dangerous infectious diseases. The Alabama Chapter-American Academy of Pediatrics (AL-AAP) and the Alabama Department of Public Health encourage parents to keep their children and teens healthy by ensuring they receive vaccines according to the recommended schedule. Vaccines are important as they help children's immune systems fight infections.
To find what vaccines are recommended during pregnancy and according to the age of your child from birth to age 18, visit the vaccine schedules at: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/parents/index.html

Donuts with Dad
Woodstock Elementary School students invited their dad's (or male figure in their lives) to join them for breakfast Friday, January 20th. It was time to enjoy each other's company and share a meal.
Friday, January 20th, Woodstock Elementary Schools cafeteria was jammin' as girls brought their dad's or a significant male influence in their lives to the school for the Daddy-Daughter Dance put on by the WES PTO. Girls wore beautiful dresses and were given tiaras as they entered the magically decorated cafeteria to dance the night away with their fathers. A special thanks to Woodstock Foodland, Gateway Foodland Corp. for your generous sponsorship and donations; Balloon Mama for the decorative balloons; Amanda Todoroff for the banner; Little Caesars in Woodstock for the pizza; Anna Lamb Photography for the pictures; Mrs. Essman, Ms. Lofton, PTO Members and volunteers for your help.
