Woodstock Elementary is currently accepting applications for Summer Programs including a Summer Tutoring & Enrichment Program,Summer Day Camp , and a Kindergarten Transition Program. Children whose 5th birthday is on or before September 2, 2016 may now register for Kindergarten. Parents, please bring your child to register so that our school can best prepare for the 2016-2017 school year. Paperwork requested for registration include: birth certificate, social security card, blue form (imminuzation record), parent/guardian identification, 2 proofs of residence and any legal documents such as custody (if appilcable).
The popular Hank the Cowdog series is based on the humorous antics of the canine Head of Ranch Security. In this first book, Hank and his little buddy, Drover, set out to solve a series of baffling murders on the ranch. Is Hank a suspect? An Outlaw? Can he clear his good name?
WES faculty and staff have been supporting the ARI literacy efforts since 2000. Instructional Coach, Stacie Gulley assists teachers and students with effective reading strategies and lessons for improved literacy.
Alabama Math Science & Technology Initiative
WES teachers have participated in ongoing AMSTI training and professional development to implement hands-on math & science activities to design meaningful, successful lessons.
21st Century Learning Community
WES is proud to offer extended day services for families each day. Students may attend each day at 7am and/or afternoons from 3pm to 6pm. Activities include snack & recreation, homework & tutoring, and daily enrichment.
