A Message from the Superintendent
Dear Parents and Community Members,
On behalf of the Bibb County Board of Education and the staff, I want to welcome you to the Bibb County School District.
It is our vision to empower every student to reach his or her unique potential. For this to happen, the total needs of our students must be met. These needs include physical, social, mental, and emotional. We must look at the entire child when addressing these issues to provide the means necessary for children to succeed. This is a collaborative effort that requires the participation of everyone involved in a child’s life. I believe that for the Bibb County School District to reach its maximum potential in educating and preparing children, we must work as schools and communities to break down barriers and help to build futures for our most valuable assets.
My message to parents is that your children are in a district that provides and cares for your children. They are in an academic environment in which learning takes place. I invite you to visit Bibb County Schools and to be active in the education and success of the students in our great county.
