Information for Students and Parents

 

School Day

            The regular schedule for our school day is from 7:20 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Exceptions will be announced when authorized by the Superintendent of Schools.

 

School Bell Schedule

7:45 a.m.            First Bell (Go to homeroom) School officially begins

7:50 a.m.            Tardy Bell

2:35 p.m.            School officially dismisses

 

School Building

            The school building will not be open before 7:20 a.m. for students.

Official Supervision

            Official supervision of student commences with the arrival of the first school bus in the morning and ends with the departure of the last school bus in the afternoon. Parents, please do not bring or allow your child to arrive at school before 7:20 a.m. The school doors will not be opened.

 

School Visitation By Parents

            Centreville Elementary will operate with an “Open Door” Policy as long as full cooperation can be maintained between the school and the parents.

If you desire to visit at any time, please follow the steps listed:

            1. Come by the school office and request a visitor’s pass. You will be direct to the room or area that you wish to visit.

            2. Enter the room quietly, find a place and be seated. Remember-No interruptions and no parent-teacher conferences at this time.

            3. Return the visitor’s pass to the office as you leave the building.

            4. No visitor passes will be issued prior to 8:05 a.m.
