Child Nutrition Program
Centreville Elementary offers a “self serve” breakfast and lunch program. This gives our students the opportunity to select the foods that they like to eat. The teachers and staff stress the importance of choosing a well balanced meal with each child. Free and reduced-priced breakfast and lunch will be available only through application request. Regulations are set by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. As soon as you receive the free and reduced-priced breakfast and lunch application, please fill in all the information requested and return the application to your child’s teacher immediately. We must have this information to determine if your child qualifies. Do not send your child to school and expect him/her to receive a free or reduced-priced lunch simply because you think he/she ought to have it. We must have evidence to support our actions in this program. Lunch account balances must be up to date. DO NOT ASK TO CHARGE LUNCHES, PLEASE.

Milk
Break
Each teacher will schedule a milk break during the day. Until different notice, milk will cost $.25 per half pint, chips - $.50, Sunny Delight - $.50.
