Mission of The School Counseling Program

The mission of the elementary guidance counseling program is to facilitate opportunities for all students to develop positive self-images, to increase relationship social skills, and develop academic learning skills.

About Mrs. Johnson

Hello there!  I hope you guys had a great summer. 

This is my second year as school counselor.  We had a great time in guidance last year.  Just thinking about it makes me look forward to working with all our students, teachers, and parents in the new year ahead.

I'm happy working at CES because I believe helping young children learn to make good choices, and how to express their needs and feelings in a safe, respectful, yet effective way will help them now, and throughout their lives.  I also enjoy helping children discover all the special things about themselves, and about the people in the world around them.  My other interest include gardening, traveling, camping, and spending time with my family.
