CHECKOUT OF STUDENTS BY PERSONS OTHER THAN PARENTS

 

            Parents or guardians may designate four persons who may pick their child up at any time without written permission. If the parents/guardians want someone other than the four designated persons to pick their child up they must send a written note (please supply date and time) to the child’s teacher on the morning of the checkout.

OR

            If the child fails to bring a written note on the morning of the checkout, the parent(s) must personally deliver to the school office the note granting someone other than themselves or their four designees permission to check the child out of school.

            The name of the person who will check the child out of school must appear on the note. This person will be asked to present identification to the office staff before he/she can check the child out of school. It will be the responsibility of the parent(s) to inform this person of the checkout procedure.
