Computer Tech Information Systems Innovations
Text Box: Prerequisite: Business Technology Essentials Material Covered: This is a half semester elective course that is new to our curriculum and to the state. There is not a set course of study, so we will be somewhat developing this course along the way. I already have planned to have projects in MS Publisher that entails flyers, brochures, and newsletters. We will also learn to develop a basic webpage, introduce students to GPS and how to use them in geocaching, work with flip videos to develop podcast, as well as, take digital pictures and create projects with these pictures. I’m excited about this class and hope that the students will be also. I’m sure there are lots of ideas students will have to share with me for this course. I have found many of our students are very creative and this is a time that will help these students use their creativity. Any suggestions you may have to include in this course will be welcomed. Grading System: Students will be given individual rubrics for the projects they will be doing in class.
