Parent Day

Bibb County Schools Fall Parent Visitation Day is Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Please see the schedules below. 

West Blocton Middle School

8:00 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.  Parent visitation/classroom observation.  Computer Labs, Library, and P.E. may also be observed.  Parents must schedule conferences with teachers in advance.

 

1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.  Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP)  A team will present the reason for the session, an explanation of how the document is created, and the Goals/Strategies/Activities in the CIP.  Parents will be encouraged to get involved in the CIP process.  Communication strategies between the school and parents will be discussed.  Location: Library of WBMS

 

2:10 p.m. – Pep Rally in the Gym

Randolph Elementary School

Randolph parents are welcomed and encouraged to visit our school on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. On this day, each teacher has a specific time period scheduled for parent visitation listed on the schedule below. Our Randolph family looks forward to spending this time with you as we share in the joy of your child’s education!

Centreville Middle School

8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. - Normal School Day – Parents are invited to visit the classrooms. We ask that you not interfere with the teaching in your child’s classroom. Parents are invited to have lunch with their child in the lunchroom. The cost of guest lunches will be $4.00.
 
Scheduled Parent/Teacher Conferences -Please schedule conferences with your child’s teacher ahead of time. These will be fifteen minute conferences with your child’s teacher. Conferences will be scheduled during the teacher’s planning period.

**Please consider joining our school PTO. Yearly dues are $10.00.

**We would also like to encourage parents to attend one of the parent sessions listed below, check the balance of your child’s lunch account, library fines, and whether or not your child has paid all of their classroom fees for the year during your visit to our school.**

Bibb County Career Academy

Parents of current and prospective BCCA students are invited to visit the Career Academy, where our goal is to assist students in their

transition from high school to college and/or the workplace.  However, due to the Joint Leadership Conference several of our some teachers and students will not be on campus.

 

8:00 - 2:45            Parent visitation/observation.

 

Mr. Allen Franklin, Principal, will be available throughout the day to discuss Articulated Credit and Dual Enrollment with our area Two-Year Colleges and BLG Academy.

Each Program will have student work displayed.
